Flat weaving is a technique performed on a loom. It is a job that takes time to achieve a perfect finish of the product, made entirely by hand.
It is woven by a family of artisans specialized in weaving, not far from Antsirabe.

I recommend that an anti-slip pad such as total grip is used underneath rugs to prevent slippage between the rug and the surface it is placed on.
